For FunctionUp it wasn’t a long-awaited nod of approval from the industry but an accolade that came our way at just the right time, cementing our belief in the core philosophy of our journey. The idea of FunctionUp was conceived to add value to not just individual lives but to improve the overall quality of technical talent within the community.
Our comprehensive approach entailed understanding the technical talent gap prevalent in the industry, especially at the entry level which made the hiring process not just difficult but also cost-intensive. This led us to start a coding boot camp that trains young graduates through a structured programming language course. While this course guarantees our students high-paying jobs, it also provides a readily available tech talent pool to the industry.

FunctionUp placement bootcamp runs on the outcome-based model, where candidates are trained on advanced technologies and industry-relevant skills. Our candidates learn from industry experts in tech, data science, analytics, and product management and get placed after 3-4 months of training in the bootcamp.
While there are no immediate solutions to the industry’s skill gap, the EduTech sector and startups like FunctionUp hold the key to the door that leads to tech talents with accurate skills and the right attitude. Precisely those purple squirrels, hiring managers find difficult to discover.
FunctionUp bootcamp has a unique revenue model which eliminates the financial burden on students and parents by charging 0 upfront fees. Candidates are required to pay only after they land a high-paying job (min 5LPA) through an Income Sharing Agreement.
We take great pride in sharing that we offer our female candidates a waiver of 50 percent to facilitate and encourage more women to take up tech jobs.
